This engine/transmission package provides power, reliability and economy. We start with a low mileage (<10K) LZ9 engine. The engine is disassembled, cleaned, reassembled and wired for RWD operation using new gaskets, seals and conversion parts. After assembly, the engine is test ran to insure proper operation. The flywheel, clutch assembly, bellhousing and a brand new, not used or rebuilt, Ford T5-Z transmission are mounted before crating the engine for shipment.

Features: The LZ series engines incorporate many features such as high flow LS style ports, larger intake and exhaust valves, steel crankshaft, SPM* connecting rods, 1.7:1 SPM* roller fulcrum rockers, roller lifters, oil squirters on each cylinder, high volume oiling system, MLS head gaskets and a U-flow cooling system.

The transmission was chosen for several reason. They are available new from Ford, the power rating will handle years of spirited driving and the gear ratios work great with the stock rear axle.
